All Saint's Church - Sky High in Japan

A replica of All Saint's Church Brockhampton, Has been built in Osaka the second biggest city in Japan. Not as you might think with its foundations firmly in the ground but on the 21st & 22nd floor of a tower block! This remarkable and sympathetic replica, flooded with natural light from a glass atrium above, allows couples to be married at home. On the same level as the church there is a photographic studio, restaurant, reception and exhibition halls. Above the Church there is a hotel, with honeymoon suites to complete the package.

Quiz Walk & Barbeque Sat. Jun 13th

There were a couple of different routes with a short quiz to further discuss the Parish Plan. The first route with a few questions was a short leisurely stroll in the immediate vicinity of the village hall. The second  for the more energetic who fancied a longer late afternoon walk. The two routes both had prizes for the person getting the most answers correct. As usual the validity of the answers gave rise to much debate!!

The evening was rounded off with a barbeque and gave you the opportunity to discuss what facilities or changes you would like to see in the village.
