A replica of All Saint's Church Brockhampton, has been built in Osaka the second biggest city in Japan. Not as you might think with its foundations firmly in the ground but on the 21st & 22nd floor of a tower block! Many Japanese couples travel to Europe to be married in a church building. This remarkable and sympathetic replica, flooded with natural light from a glass atrium above, allows couples to be married at home. The floors below the church houses shops, offices and car parking. On the same level as the church there is a photographic studio, restaurant, reception and exhibition halls. Above the Church there is a hotel, with honeymoon suites to complete the package. |
