It's great to see that Brockhampton has its own website - my Grandparents lived at Ladyridge for many years and I have warm memories of visiting the village in the 1970s and 80s. I was last there about six years ago and was reminded what a peaceful and unspoilt place it is. Keep up the good work. Brian Carpenter 29th April 2006 The site looks fantastic and I hope many other people find their way here. Many thanks from everyone at Brockhampton Cricket Club for the link to our website and we hope to see some new faces at the ground this summer, whether just to watch or join as club members. Many thanks again, Adam Hewlett (Brockhampton CC)-6th March 2006 Tom, thanks for your kind comments............now I am sure somewhere you have some very good photos, both old and new? If so, I would be pleased to have a copy for the website. Good to hear from you. Kind regards, Ian Brough 3rd March 2006 Just been told of the website and have looked at all of it. Well done it is very good and easy to get round and should be a great asset to the community. Will continue to visit it occasionally to see how you develop it. Regards to all Tom Roskill 2nd March 2006 Your comments and suggestions for changes to our village website would be much appreciated. The web site has been designed for viewing at 1024x768 screen resolution with no scrolling (apart from this forum section!). Does this cause anyone any problems? Ian Brough 25th Feb 2006 Old Photographs I would welcome some old photographs and/or stories of village life in the past to include on the website............can anyone help? On the subject of photographs, please send in your best local pictures for inclusion in the photography section. The theme for February is village characters..........- Ian Brough 25th Feb 2006 Virus Attack This part of the site, in its original open format had suffered a virus attachment so I have temporarily removed the "instant input" until the security issue is resolved. If you have any comments you would like to add here then please e-mail them to me. |
